Je viens d'écouter toute un greatest hits des Beach Boys. Ils méritent d'être réécoutés. Il y a quelques très très très bons morceaux!

A écouter de toute urgence:

Cet album devait suivre en 1968 l'album "Pet Sounds" et les premières prises avaient eu lieu lorsque, sombrant dans la drogue et l'alcool, Brian Wilson arrêta sa participation au groupe. L'album ne sortira jamais sous le nom de "Beach Boys". En février 2004, Brian Wilson, reprenant les bandes de l'époque les a complétées dans le même studio, sur les mêmes instruments.

C'est magique! Avec "Heroes and Villains" en intro et la version longue de "Good Vibration" en final, jamais entendue comme ça, c'est un bijou psych-prog.

Ma grande soeur écoutait ca, en boucle, sur un Teppazz "Pirouet" portable à piles, en 45 tours bien sur. Il n'y avait pas encore eu mai 68 et ses ravages.
